Extend exists because a good chorus is expensive. If you like the hook, do not gamble a full regeneration — ask the model to continue from the last bar.
Think in sections: verse that sets the scene, chorus you already have, bridge or drop, then an ending. Each extend should describe what happens next, not restate the whole song.
Listen at the join. If the new section changes key or vocal tone too hard, trim and extend again with a tighter continuation line. Pair this with Custom mode when lyrics must stay exact.

Common mistakes
Extending a weak hook
Length will not invent a chorus. Fix the prompt and regenerate the seed idea first.
Changing genre in the continuation
“Now make it metal” on a folk take usually wrecks identity. Remix is the tool for a style swap; extend is for the same song.
Never listening at the cut
The join is where tracks fail. Trim a second of overlap rather than shipping a lurch.
